HealthDay's Dr. Cynthia Haines Talks Health Care

HealthDay's Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Cindy Haines, has recently published her first book, The New Prescription: How to Get the Best Health Care in a Broken System. The New Prescription is about getting what we all really want: better health on our own terms. Other countries have shown us that more health care does not necessarily equal better health, while America struggles with increasing health care costs as well as numbers of people in need of health care services. The New Prescription takes the reader on a journey to personal empowerment - guiding one to better use of the current health care system, while needing to rely on it less. Dr. Haines shares more of her views on the current state of health care in this 15-minute podcast.
