Anemia

A study comparing two medications in treating anemia in African-American subjects with chronic renal failure (CRF) who are receiving hemodialysis. African-American volunteers at least 18 years old who have been receiving dialysis 3 times a week for at least 8 weeks prior to study enrollment may be eligible. Research site located in Royal Oak, Michigan.

Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma

A research study for people at risk of developing mucositis, a common side effect to chemotherapy and radiotherapy involving the formation of erythema and ulcerative lesions in the mouth. Volunteers ages 18 - 76 who have been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, leukemia or myeloma and who are candidates for treatment with radiation therapy and chemotherapy followed by blood stem cell support may be eligible. Research site located in Winston Salem, North Carolina.
