Chronic Pain

The purpose of this research study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of Kadian NT when taken for chronic pain over a period of up to one year. You may be eligible for this trial if you 18-70 and have a history of chronic moderate-to-severe pain for at least three months.

Ulcerative Colitis

This research study will assess the health of relatives of people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Volunteers at least age 14 who have relatives with IBD (either Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis) and have not been diagnosed with IBD themselves may qualify. Additional criteria apply.

Parkinson's Disease

This study will evaluate the effectiveness, safety and tolerability of the investigational medication E2007 in Levodopa-treated Parkinson's patients with motor fluctuations. If you were diagnosed with Parkinson's at 30+ years of age, are currently taking Levodopa at least three times daily with a good response, and meet additional criteria, you may qualify.
