Carole Tanzer Miller

Carole Tanzer Miller has decades of experience as a reporter, editor and staff development leader at Gannett Newspapers in suburban New York and at The News & Observer in Raleigh, N.C. She has worked as a part-time editor and writer for HealthDay since its inception in the late 1990s. Miller, a graduate of the University of Oregon, is a former winner of the New York City Deadline Club’s James Wright Brown Aware for Excellence in Public Service Reporting.
